My Reflection – Week 8
I think that I have achieved the School Value Responsibility because I always did what I was told to do and I looked after the classroom and my class mates.
My goal for next week is to have more interesting words than happy, sad and big in my writing because my writing will be really boring and no one will want to read it. I also want to improve on my sentence writing because then people will be interested and want to read my writing.
I have enjoyed doing maths because I learnt a new strategy. I found senior P.E really exciting because everyone took part in it and I got the ball in capture the flag.
The work I’m most pleased with is my Diary Writing because I’m getting better at it and I now know more about how to make my writing interesting.

My Weekly Reflection – Week 7
This week I have enjoyed doing Maths because I got through it like an amazing clock in full action.
I have not enjoyed doing my Homework because I did not manage my time. Next week I will manage my time better when I am doing my homework.
Next week my goal is to show the School Value Tolerance. This week I showed the School Value Responsibility. I showed the school by being responsible for my clothes and my belongings.
I think that I could improve my handwriting because it is not good and I could do better at it and I could also learn my basic facts.
I think that Miss Adamsons would be really impressed because last year I was not that good and I think that although I still have to learn my 7, 9 and a little bit of my 6 and 12 they have definitely improved because I have used persistence,
From your amazing and Fantastic Diary writer RB.
Bye Bye people of New Zealand.
Keeping Manukau Beautiful
On Thursday 20th March at 11:00 Room 21 and Room 19 got changed into their old clothes, grabbed our bottles of water and lined up outside the class. Miss Adamson then told us to walk down to the Reserve.
Next the lady from Keeping Manukau Beautiful told us lots of information about graffiti. We learned that graffiti is very bad and that the Tax Payers spends over 3 million dollars on graffiti each year just in Manukau. Then she showed us some pictures of what graffiti looked like.
Then we all stood up and followed the one of the lady helpers who travels around Manukau painting over graffiti.. She led us out of Elm Park School and around the corner. We walked for about 30 minutes and then we stoped near a long alley.
We were shown where we were going to paint and how to paint. Then we had to choose a partner. I choose JM. We were then given a paint brush each and a paint bucket was put in front of us. We walked up the alleyway and the lady told us where to paint.
I dipped my paint bush into the paint pot and then lifted my paint bush up so fast it went all over Jason. It was really funny. We finished the whole alleyway in 45 minutes. I looked at it when we were finished and it looked beautiful.
Then we had to walk back to school. I felt very proud of myself because I did a good job and it was very helpful to the community.
